Jupiter Topco LLC disclosed a new $1.79 billion stake in Ferguson plc in a recent SEC filing, buying 7,538,616 shares during the second quarter.
Ferguson shipyard in Port Glasgow, a state-owned yard building CalMac ferries, plans to cut about a quarter of its workforce as work on the second of two long-delayed ferries wraps up. This is not the same company as Ferguson Enterprises (FERG).
