Recent news
most recent scored articles · the chip is the article’s score · click to openCoca-Cola has extended its streak of paying and raising its dividend to six decades, but a surging share price and a tight payout ratio are prompting questions about whether the stock still offers good value for investors buying it today.
Coca-Cola raised its annual dividend 3.9% to $2.12 per share, extending its streak of consecutive annual dividend increases to 64 years. Q2 results showed revenue up 7%, comparable earnings per share up 11%, and unit case volume up 5%.
An analysis of Coca-Cola's margin outlook concludes that pricing power, revenue growth management, and structural efficiencies are the primary drivers of margin gains, with cost relief playing only a supporting role.
