Check Point said it identified and blocked a large email phishing campaign that sent roughly 24,700 fake debt-relief and financial-hardship messages to users at more than 9,000 organizations over a 14-day period. Payment rates fell to about 23%, a multi-year low, though on-chain payments still exceeded $820 million in 2025.
