Lyft's CFO Erin Brewer sold 15,000 shares of the company's Class A common stock on August 24, 2026, at a weighted average price of $17.63 per share. The stock has delivered a 4% return over the prior year.
Several research firms have recently updated their ratings and price targets on Lyft stock. Royal Bank of Canada reaffirmed an 'outperform' rating with a $20.00 price target on August 18, 2026, and Roth Capital reaffirmed a 'buy' rating on August 10, 2026.
Lyft director Janey Whiteside sold 5,480 shares at an average price of $17.68 on August 25, for a total of about $96,886. The sale was made under a pre-arranged trading plan and reduced her holdings by 8.28%, leaving her with 60,704 shares.
A federal appeals court rejected a proposed class-action lawsuit against Lyft brought by Westchester County, New York residents who accused the ride-hailing company of systematically discriminating against disabled riders by not providing enough wheelchair-accessible vehicles. The Second Circuit said the plaintiffs' proposed solutions for increasing wheelchair-accessible vehicle availability were not reasonable.
